Hi Ginny,

Thank you for responding to my question regarding the types of donations. Additionally, thank you for providing so much information to me during the town hall--I truly appreciate your insight.

However, the other part of my question remains unanswered, and I don’t believe the answer would provide any information identifying donors. I am simply wondering what date, or month and year, does the reach-back to which Dr. Jackson spoke of at the town hall begin for the current capital campaign?

Dr. Jackson, herself, said she would provide this information to me when she responded to my question with, “Well, I don’t know the exact date, there are always reach-backs. Even in the prior capital campaign that we launched, I believe in 2004, there were reach-backs all the way to in the 90s. And, so we’ll find the exact date for you, but any university has that in terms of the quiet phase…”

I would appreciate this information at your earliest convenience.

As you know, we did discuss generically the types of funds which are included in Campaign totals. In order to protect the confidentiality of our donors, we would not provide additional information beyond that discussed. Thank you for your question.

Thank you for answering the RPI community’s questions during your Town Meeting.

During the meeting, in reference to the $400 million donated to the campaign, you had said you would look into when the silent phase began. Additionally, can you elaborate in terms of all funds which are counted towards that total?
